This is the first project we had done in Moscow. After all the houses and townhouses completed in New York City, this project was different in its lavishness. The client loves paintings, sculpture, icons, antique furniture and quirky fireplace mantels. His ever-growing collection seems to stifle an American colonial interior.
The project is unique, because it is a merger of two townhouses located a mile away from the Kremlin. The gem is a rooftop pool. The vaulted ceiling beams above the pool divided by the skylights, provide natural light into the SPA area with a steam sauna, shower and lounge area.
There are lots of warm tones in the interior, walnut wood paneling, gold siena marbles and patinated gold plaster ceiling moldings.
